My story
I am happy to tell you about the path that led me to practice naturopathy.
I've been playing tennis since I was 10. What started as a hobby took a competitive turn and I became a professional tennis player as a teenager. To most of you, this may sound impressive, but most forget the sacrifice, discipline, and precision that are needed in every detail of life to succeed at the highest levels.
I was required to train several times a day, maintain a healthy diet, fly to international competitions, and deal with situations that would create physical and mental stress.
Following my perseverance and achievements, I received a scholarship offer at one of the private universities in the US, where I played on the women's tennis team in the Major League. During my degree, I was under an intensive schedule of studies, exams, training, and competitions, all in a foreign culture. I was exposed to a huge abundance of industrialized foods and experienced health symptoms that caused me to seek a natural, personal, and comprehensive solution, and so I sought naturopathic treatment. As a result, I understood better what was right for me and what was not, I connected to my body's sensations, and developed awareness and control over my diet. I discovered that eating can be from a place of wholeness and safety, without regret or obsessive calorie counting.
For the past decade, I have been researching, studying, and advising on everything related to nutrition, sports, and natural medicine out of a true passion for the world of health and the desire to provide and make knowledge accessible to others.
It's not easy to succeed in eating healthy, exercising regularly, and managing daily stress. Even those who are diligent encounter difficulties and need guidance and encouragement.
To best nourish and balance ourselves, knowledge, tools, and professional guidance are required. At the clinic, I help each patient develop better habits with the goal of bringing relief and improvement to health problems and to succeed in leading a healthy lifestyle over time.
I am here to help you make the desired and healthy changes just like I did, to find the right balance that suits you.
